Programs for Parents
In many of the Latino families of the youth we work with, parent-child relationships are influenced by hardships from political upheaval and violence, severe poverty, limited education, and language and cultural barriers.
Identity offers programs for parents, and separate workshops for fathers, designed to enhance the parenting role of Latino parents, strengthen and improve family relationships, facilitate access to supportive services for families, and increase awareness about causes and consequences of domestic violence.
