Latino Youth Collaborative Report - December 2010
The goal of the Latino Youth Collaborative is to bring about action that will save a generation of Latino youth in Montgomery County, Maryland. This report represents a courageous and forceful response by County elected officials and representatives from the public and private sectors to address the critical needs that confront Latino youth in the County. Identity conducted the initial needs assessment which gathered critical data that sounded the alarm on the pressing issues that Latino youth face. In addition, Identity’s Deputy Director co-chaired the Steering Committee which provided recommendations and pathways for Montgomery County to take specific actions that will ensure the success and wellbeing of the youth.
