Bilingual Education Specialist - DYOC - Part Time 
The Bilingual Education Specialist - GED provides English and Spanish GED instruction to young adults ages 18–25 while supporting their educational, personal, and career goals. This position delivers trauma-informed academic instruction, test preparation, mentoring, and student support services to help participants earn their GED and transition successfully into higher education, workforce training, or employment. The role is embedded within the Youth Opportunity Center model, connecting students to case management, mental health services, workforce development, and mentoring opportunities.

Community Engagement Case Manager - Upcounty - Full Time
The Community Engagement Case Manager implements strategies, activities, and programs for engaging and recruiting vulnerable youth and young adults at targeted communities across the Upcountry region. Once youth are engaged, the Community Engagement Case Manager provides wrap-around services to help them to reach their highest potential. They work with participants to assess personal strengths and develop individualized plans to achieve identified short- and long-term goals. The Community Engagement Case Manager provides guidance, feedback, and support to youth serving as role model, advocate, and ally throughout their enrollment in the Youth Opportunity Centers and its services. Additionally, this is a hybrid position, the Community Engagement Case Manager will deliver services directly in the community at targeted locations (Cider Mill Apartments, Germantown Park, Clopper Mill Apartments, Hamptons Apartments, and Seneca Ridge) and in the Youth Opportunity Centers as needed.

Case Manager - Part Time
Identity is seeking a dynamic, bilingual (Spanish/English) team member to support families in Montgomery County. The Case Manager primary responsibility is to conduct outreach and support a minimum of 30 families, including a needs assessment, referrals to social services, development of Family Wellness Plans, and case management. The Case Manager will also support planning and implementing virtual and/or in-person meetings on topics to support their children’s growth and development.

Community Outreach Specialist - Full Time
Identity is seeking dynamic, innovative, confident, detail oriented, outgoing, collaborative community outreach specialists for its new Substance Misuse Prevention & Education Peer Ambassador Program (SUP Ambassador Program). The community outreach specialist will be working in a team with a program manager, two other community outreach specialists, and overseeing four high school youth peer ambassadors to conduct substance misuse prevention education and referrals to SUD/OUD treatment in one of the following areas: 1) Aspen Hill/Glenmont/Wheaton/Silver Spring; 2) Briggs Chaney/Silver Spring; or 3) Gaithersburg/Germantown, and Montgomery Village in Montgomery County, MD. This is a one-year position with a possibility of renewal, depending on funding.

Identity, a nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to supporting youth and their families, is seeking a dynamic, culturally responsive, part-time ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Instructor to provide English language instruction to adult learners (ages 18 and older) in Montgomery County. Instruction may take place in community-based settings, virtually, in person, or through a hybrid model, depending on the assigned cohort. 

 

The ESOL Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, trauma-informed lessons tailored to the unique needs of immigrant adults. Instruction will focus on developing practical English language skills that support everyday communication, educational success, workforce readiness, and community integration. The instructor will foster a welcoming and supportive learning environment that builds learners’ confidence and promotes personal, academic, and professional growth. 

 

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have experience working with vulnerable adult populations, and demonstrate a strong commitment to empowering English language learners through culturally responsive teaching practices.

Grants Accountant (Billing) - Full Time

The Grants Accountant (Billing) plays a crucial role in the Finance Team, supporting the full lifecycle of grant accounting and billing activities. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with grant requirements, and supporting the month-end close process.
 

This individual is tasked with backing combined accounting operations, general accounting, grant billing, and accounts receivable responsibilities working in a fast-pasted, deadline-driven environment adhering to a structured work setting. These duties include, but are not limited to, managing accounts Receivable/Payable, making general ledger entries, creating invoices, and reviewing financial transactions.


Compensation: $55,000 - 65,000 Annual Salary

Payroll Manager - Full Time

Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of year-round payroll for the Organization. The work allocation is 85% dedicated to payroll-related tasks and 15% to other assigned duties. Calculates employee compensation, review accuracy of timecards, update internal payroll databases, maintain the payroll work calendar, and conduct company-wide training for all employees. Review and reconcile quarterly and yearly multi-state tax reports. Performs transactional and routine bookkeeping and other accounting responsibilities related to payroll. Works in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Responsibilities include the following tasks: clerical and technical such as verifying, reviewing, and reconciling reports; and posting and documenting financial transactions. Serve as a liaison to internal departments, providing guidance, building working relationships, and helping to resolve issues and perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 Annual Salary

Youth Development Specialist – Bridge to Wellness - Full Time

Identity’s Bridge to Wellness Program is a collaboration between Montgomery County’s Department of Health and Human Services and Montgomery County Public Schools and other agency providers in high schools throughout the county. The Youth Development Specialist (YDS) is a key member of the Identity and Bridge to Wellness team, dedicated to advancing the social-emotional and physical wellbeing, nurturing leadership potential, and overall resilience of youth. Grounded in the Positive Youth Development (PYD) Framework, this role delivers both individual and group-based services that are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and rooted in the lived experiences of the students and their communities. Through creative, engaging, and relationship-centered approaches, the specialist helps young people strengthen protective factors, build life skills, and develop a strong sense of self and belonging. By honoring youth identities and amplifying their strengths, the YDS empowers students to navigate challenges, foster meaningful connections, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.


Compensation: $23.07 Per Hour
