Identity’s new automotive career pathway will help youth build careers in the automotive industry. We are so grateful to the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association Foundation (MADA) and the Washington Area New Automobile Dealers Association (WANADA) for their groundbreaking partnership and investment.

As Identity’s Executive Director Diego Uriburu told Bethesda Today, "We’re turning small trails into big avenues for our community to access phenomenal jobs and brighter futures."
The newly launched Automobile Career Program will connect youth with rewarding careers in the automotive sector, where hard work and strong performance are key drivers of success. By partnering with MADA and WANADA, Identity is opening doors for young people seeking lucrative career opportunities in an essential industry.
“We are very excited about this venture for both Identity and the DMV automobile business,” said Sam Weaver, Chairman of the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association Foundation. “This partnership will provide young people with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed while helping dealerships build a talented and motivated workforce.”
Weaver, who is also vice president and a partner at the Chevy Chase Acura dealership in Bethesda, told Bethesda Today that his Bethesda dealership would be the first in the area to partner with Identity and look to hire its clients.
“In the very beginning, we’re going to act as the pilot,” Weaver said. “Over the first 30 to 60 days we’re going to create the framework on how it’s [going] to work and what Identity’s role is.”
“We, too, are very excited about this partnership,” said Diego Uriburu, Executive Director of Identity. “It not only addresses a need in the automobile industry, but also a need among young people for a rewarding and exciting career.”
“Our first goal for our clients is economic stability, but economic mobility is the ultimate goal”, said Fresia Guzman, Program Director for Identity’s Workforce Development Program. “This partnership with ADA and WANADA opens a pathway to both for our young people and their families.”
