Marriott shares Job Market Insights with Identity Clients

Identity clients gathered to hear job market insights from Dilia Davis, HR Director at the Bethesda Marriott Hotel.  The information session is part of a partnership between Marriott and Identity to build an employee pipeline for the hotel chain. Twenty-two clients attended the event on the evening of March 20th, learning about the range of career opportunities, benefits, and qualities Marriott values in their employees.

 


Clients interested in the Career Pathways program in hospitality work with Identity coaches who connect them to classes and services that will help them succeed, such as English conversation classes, resume writing, interview preparation, job soft skills and certifications such as food handling.  Finally, coaches work closely with clients during the application process.  For clients who are hired by Marriott, Identity’s support continues to make sure they have uniforms, transportation and/or tools to get them ready to succeed before their first paycheck.
